Elixir Biosciences Private Limited is a Bio-Pharmaceutical company, situated at Guwahati, Assam which was set up with the primary objective of carrying out Drug Discovery Research using Computer Assisted Drug Discovery (CADD) methodologies and Bioinformatics tools.

While the infrastructure building in pursuit of its primary objective is still in progress, EBPL has recently entered the field of pharmaceutical manufacturing and marketing of its own branded products. We at Elixir Biosciences are therefore working towards achieving the goal of establishing a twin facility of one Drug Discovery R&D center and one full-fledged pharmaceutical manufacturing unit together with current stress on the later for the time being which is, in fact, aimed at generating some quicker revenue that would cater to the huge financial requirement of the former. At present Elixir’s sole product Elichin^TM, which is a superior grade Antioxidant (dietary supplement) that mainly consists of totally decaffeinated Green Tea Extract (95%), is rapidly earning reputation in the pharmaceutical market since its launch in May 2006 being highly recommended by the users as well as prescribing doctors.
